Meet Monika.
Since the moment I sat down to speak with her about her career path, I was overcome by a sense that our mass-produced, fast-moving world does not deserve people like her.
Monika is a classically trained master gold and silver smith.

“Some day” is NOW

In the past few days I’ve spoken to several people – all from different walks of life.  One is a professional mom in her early thirties, the other is a gym instructor in her mid twenties, the other is a restauranteur in her early fifties.  In spite of their differences I’ve noticed that they all [...]

Me 2.0 – Dan Schawbel’s answer to thriving in a social media-crazed world

A few days ago, when Dan Schawbel, my blogoshpere friend and author, asked me to review his recently released book, Me 2.0 (by Kaplan), I gladly accepted.  For the past few months I’ve followed Dan’s work and collaborated with him on a few projects.  It’s quite clear that he’s one of the most knowledgeable millennials [...]

Shine a light – the cure-all for self-sabotage

Ignorance is bliss…some say.
Self-awareness is power…I know.
That’s why this week I’m on a mission to end self-sabotage.
Here’s the deal.  Self-awareness has the same effect on self-sabotage that light does on fungus. Just as fungus cannot survive in lite conditions, self-sabotage cannot stand the rays of self-awareness.
To shine a light on your path, below I share [...]
